Buehler's gem and Sheets' dramatic ninth-inning blast secure another walk-off win for the San Diego Padres, this time in their striking new City Connect uniforms.

The San Diego Padres have now walked it off in two consecutive nights to begin the four-game series against the Colorado Rockies at Petco Park.

On Thursday night, Xander Bogaerts played hero as he hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 12th inning to give San Diego the 7-3 win.

On Friday night, the Padres debuted their brand new City Connect uniforms, and they walked it off again, this time on a Gavin Sheets three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth to get the 5-2 victory.

Walker Buehler got the start for San Diego and dominated, going six scoreless innings with just three hits and zero walks in his best outing in a Padres uniform.

Sheets and Luis Campusano each hit a solo home run in the fifth inning to give San Diego a 2-0 lead, and Adrian Morejon had another rough outing as he gave up a pair of runs on four hits in the eighth inning.

Jason Adam made his season debut on the same day he was activated, and he faced just one batter to get the Padres out of a jam.

And, Mason Miller did Mason Miller things, striking out the side once again to continue his unreal stretch.

Jackson Merrill singled to lead off the bottom of the ninth, and Manny Machado walked. Bogaerts flied out to move Merrill to third, but Sheets sent Petco Park into a frenzy with a walk-off home run, his second of the night.

Don Orsillo had another great call, even shouting, "Holy Sheets" as the Padres first baseman rounded the bases to a flurry of Padres players at home plate.

Rockies starter Tomoyuki Sugano pitched well, going six innings with four hits and two runs in another solid outing.

Manager Craig Stammen tinkered with the lineup again, putting Ramon Laureano back in the leadoff spot, and even though Fernando Tatis Jr., Bogaerts and Machado combined for zero hits, it didn't matter: The Padres got the win.

These types of wins can ignite a team, and the energy has appeared to be much different since taking the series finale on the road against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Padres are right back at it on Saturday. Former Rockies starter German Marquez takes the mound after his best outing as a Padre, and Ryan Feltner toes the rubber for Colorado. Let's see if San Diego can walk it off again.
