McCarthy Now Has 15 Homers This Season

Let's hear it for Colorado Rockies left fielder Jake McCarthy, who went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and hit his 15th home run this season on Sunday.

It was his sixth first-pitch home run this season and his third multi-hit game over his last five overall games. McCarthy is now the ninth Rockies player all-time (10th instance overall) who have at least 15 homers and 25 stole bases in a single season.

From Aug. 1, McCarthy has a slash line of .302/.353/.482 with five homers, eight doubles, a triple, and 16 RBIs.
