MLB Lockout Looms for Rockies

It's pretty well known around the baseball world that Major League Baseball, its owners, and the MLB Players Association are at a standstill for a new collective bargaining agreement. The Colorado Rockies, just like all the other MLB clubs, will be affected by a lockout.

What can the players do in the meantime?

They can take time off in the offseason, then get right back to work on their separate games. Whether it is a swing issue or a fielding problem, Rockies players can use this time to tweak those issues and come in ready to roll for Spring Training.

No one knows, though, when Spring Training will start.

So, keep your eyes on the ongoing discussions and see if the lockout can be avoided.
