Rain Halts Rockies-Orioles Matchup on Monday

Fans were hoping that raindrops would not be falling on their heads at Coors Field on Monday night as the Colorado Rockies faced the Baltimore Orioles.

Well, that didn't happen and rain fell so much that the game was delayed by umpires.

Colorado and Baltimore were tied 1-1 when the tarp team started rolling it out onto the Coors Field infield.

Late Monday night, the game was still delayed. It's not clear whether umpires will resume this game on Monday night or postpone its ending until Tuesday.

Rockies Roundtable will have the latest on this ballgame on Tuesday morning.
