Rockies Have to Get Serious in Offseason

Right now, all eyes are aimed in the MLB world toward the World Series and the Milwaukee Brewers have punched their ticket. Maybe the Colorado Rockies can watch what is happening only with the Brewers, but with the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians in the American League Championship Series.

All three of these teams do not have millions and millions of dollars spent on their rosters. They have shown up in a competitive way, earning their trips to the postseason.

If the Rockies want to take a serious next step to even be in the postseason conversation at some point next season, then the front office has to get serious. There's no doubt that it will, but it's good to remind them as well as Rockies fans what is possible when there are not millions and millions of dollars available.
