Keep an eye on Rockies' minor-league system

Mentioning the Colorado Rockies' minor-league system might send some fans into fits. It's been a rather rocky road, at times, for those prospects to come up and deliver.

If you look at last season, though, players like TJ Rumfield and Cole Carrigg definitely had an impact on how the team played. Their gutsy style of play rubbed off a bit on their teammates, too.

That's a short list to consider, of course. Those future prospects, though, have a great opportunity to grow and come up to the major leagues down the road.
