Rockies Better Focus on Rumfield's Development

In a rather droll season, seeing young players like TJ Rumfield come up and deliver both at the plate and in the field for the Colorado Rockies was impressive.

About his defense, Rumfield was named a Gold Glove finalist on Wednesday.

The Colorado first baseman is positioning himself to get better. It will be worth noting how much the franchise keeps tabs on Rumfield's development.

There is still plenty of room for improvement. Rumfield, though, deserves this recognition.
