Earlier this week, I previewed a chance for Munetaka Murakami to make MLB history, and here he is. He has a chance to take sole possession of the all-time record.
With his home run on Wednesday night, it was his 10th of the season. Murakami tied Jose Abreu and Aaron Judge for the most home runs by a rookie before May 1.
The White Sox have seven more games in the month of April, and an 11th home run would give Murakami the all-time record all to himself.
