The Chicago White Sox went 60-102 in 2024, missing the postseason for the fourth-straight season. 

Their last postseason appearance was in 2021, and they narrowly avoided being swept by the Houston Astros, losing the ALDS 4-1. 

The franchise has fallen off since then, and wasn't predicted to reach the MLB playoffs in 2026 either. ESPN's Bradford Doolittle predicted the White Sox would finish with 56.2 wins next season.
