A loss that's going to sting for a while

Bullpen problems cost the White Sox once again on Thursday night. And it was another game where you could simply feel it in the air. This one is going to sit with White Sox fans for a while.

It's not just any other loss where the White Sox blow the save. The fact that the game came against the Guardians provides a 2-game swing in the AL Central standings, as well as helping Cleveland with the tiebreaker.

Even if the White Sox make out okay in Cleveland and end up splitting the series, they'll get back home with a 1.0 Game lead in the division rather than a 3.0-game lead and a chance to create some real separation.
