Criticisms of Will Venable

I've seen a lot of criticism of White Sox manager Will Venable after the last two losses, and I personally think it's a bit unwarranted.

I feel like I've been critical of Venable when necessary throughout the regular season. But I don't blame him for his relief pitchers failing to get the job done over the last couple of days, especially when he's running out of arms.

To me, this falls more on Chris Getz and the front office for not doing enough at the trade deadline to appropriately supplement this roster.

The only way the White Sox can make this work in the playoffs is by relying heavily on bullpen games. But now we're seeing that fatigue start to set in, and it's costing them.
