Wild card White Sox?!

It's definitely too early to be watching the MLB standings every day, but I gotta admit, it's pretty fun to see the Chicago White Sox currently tied for the final wild card spot in the American League.

They're 16-17, winners of five in a row, and now have the same record as the defending AL champion Toronto Blue Jays.

One thing I talked about before the season began was how this team needed a good start to the year to gain confidence. They're playing really fun baseball. They're a really frisky team. And right now, nobody can tell them that they can't keep going on a run.

I'm just enjoying watching competitive baseball and being able to look forward to White Sox games right now. But if I'm being honest, I'm also keeping one eye on the standings because it's been a long time since we could say that as White Sox fans.
