Chicago White Sox infielder Colson Montgomery played in 71 games for the franchise this season.

He ended with a .239 batting average and knocked in 55 RBIs. He also had plenty of home runs during the second half of the season, hitting 21.

His efforts put in the company of Philadelphia Phillies DH Kyle Schwarber (26), Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher and DH Shohei Ohtani (23), Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero (22) and Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh (22).

To be even included in that conversation is a great sign for the young infielder.
