Keep an eye on Matthew Boughton

A notable White Sox prospect is going to make his affiliated debut on Tuesday night.

Matthew Boughton is a 20-year-old shortstop that the White Sox drafted out of Covenant Christian High School in the 11th round of the 2025 MLB draft.

A very toolsy high school product that the White Sox took a flyer on and signed for nearly $200,000. He's in the lineup for the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers tonight. Will be fun to track him to see how he's developing.
