Some fans may not know this, but longtime New York Yankees closer Rich "Goose" Gossage actually started his MLB career with the Chicago White Sox in 1972.
Gossage spent five seasons with the White Sox before joining the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1977. He then joined the Yankees in 1978 and played there until 1983.
