DARLINGTON, S.C. -- 23XI Racing's warpath through the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season continued at Darlington with a pole and front row lockout for Sunday's race.
Tyler Reddick took his second pole of the season with a time of 29.072 seconds. Reddick now has 13 poles in his NASCAR Cup Series career, including now two at Darlington.
When Reddick last won the pole for a Cup race at Darlington, he led 174 of 293 laps before a late-race incident caused him to fall two laps down.
"In my experience, being able to start up front, if we can get off turn four that first lap in the lead, we should be in really good shape to start," Reddick said.
After Reddick won the first three races of the season, he finished eighth at Phoenix and 13th at Las Vegas. His stout stats has amassed him a 61-point lead coming into the fifth race of the season.
Second in points and to start Sunday's race is teammate Bubba Wallace, who slotted in behind Reddick with a lap of 29.196 seconds. Wallace will start second, which is his best starting position since he won the Brickyard 400 in July from the same spot.
Reddick and Wallace's teammate Riley Herbst qualified 14th.
23XI's two cars outpaced a two-pack of Hendrick Motorsports drivers (Chase Elliott in third, Kyle Larson in fourth) and a two-pack of RFK Racing drivers (Brad Keselowski in fifth, Chris Buescher in sixth) in qualifying.
The only other organization to put two cars in the top-10 was Richard Childress Racing. Kyle Busch will start eighth while Austin Dillon will start 10th.
While Dillon has continuously improved this season, finishing 12th and showing pace at Las Vegas after a good run at Phoenix, Busch has struggled. Busch's finishes have tumbled from 12th at COTA , to 17th at Phoenix with no pace, to 28th at Las Vegas with again, no pace.
Other top-10 starters are Ryan Blaney in seventh and Denny Hamlin in ninth.
Blaney was slow in practice but showed pace over 30-40 laps. Combined with good track position to start the race, he will be one of the drivers to watch as the tires wear.
Hamlin is the defending winner of the spring race.
Outside of the top-10, Justin Allgaier will start 15th. After a rocky start to his fill-in tenure in Hendrick's No. 48 Ally Chevrolet, a top-15 start is exactly what he needs to get some positive momentum going. The No. 48 team needs it too as they sit outside of the top-30 in owner points after five races.
Three Joe Gibbs Racing drivers will start outside of the top-20: Christopher Bell (22nd), Chase Briscoe (23rd), Ty Gibbs (28th). Each driver had a moment during their qualifying lap that caused their times to be slower than expected.
Behind them is Joey Logano, who will start 29th. Teammate Austin Cindric showed pace in practice and will start 12th.
The Goodyear 400 will go green Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on FS1, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90 and on Motor Racing Network affiliates.
