WELCOME, N.C. - Kaulig Racing announced Tuesday that veteran driver Corey LaJoie will pilot the No. 10 Kaulig Ram 1500 for the remainder of the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, beginning Friday at Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina.
LaJoie had been scheduled to race the team’s No. 25 Ram 1500 in Rockingham as part of Ram’s Free Agent Driver Program but will now transition to the team’s No. 10 entry for the remainder of the season.
Ty Dillon, one of Kaulig Racing’s full-time NASCAR Cup Series drivers, will drive the No. 25 truck in Rockingham, marking his second race in the Free Agent Driver Program.
LaJoie said he is ready to return to full-time racing while lending his veteran experience in helping a manufacturer build a program.
“The last couple months I’ve missed the grind of working towards a goal of success on track. There’s certainly a lot of work ahead of us getting our Ram trucks to a place where we compete for wins but with the people in the Kaulig Racing building, I believe we will get there” said Lajoie, who was positioned for a top-10 finish at Darlington Raceway in Ram’s Free Agent No. 25 before a late-race incident saddled him with a 21st place finish.
“I really appreciate the confidence Kaulig Racing and Ram have in me. I have been a part of building a couple teams from the ground up and getting success and I will bring that experience to help Kaulig get to their potential on a quicker path. I love what Kaulig and Ram are doing to promote the Truck series and the sport. It will be a fun challenge to be a part of.”
LaJoie, 34, has a stellar record at Rockingham, winning three consecutive UARA-STARS late model races in 2011 and 2012. He also claimed victories in other late model events at the historic track and added a runner-up finish to Tyler Reddick in the final ARCA Menards Series East race at Rockingham in 2012.
He has competed in NASCAR’s three national series since 2013 and has more than 200 starts. The son of two-time NASCAR champion Randy LaJoie, he has driven for multiple teams in the Cup Series, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and the Truck Series.
“We selected Corey because of his extensive experience in just about every series in NASCAR and how well he worked with our organization at Darlington when he drove the No. 25,” said Chris Rice, chief executive officer of Kaulig Racing.
“He brings the skill, maturity and work ethic we need to get our Ram program where it needs to be. We think he’ll help us speed that development and battle for checkered flags. We’re confident he’s the right driver to help us.”
Ram returned to NASCAR competition in 2026 after more than a decade away from the series. The manufacturer has partnered with Kaulig Racing to field five trucks, including the Free Agent Driver Program that features a rotating cast of veteran stars, rising talents and available drivers in the No. 25 Ram 1500.
Tony Stewart, Dillon, Colin Braun and LaJoie have driven the truck in the first four races. Dillon now becomes the program’s first repeat driver. Dillon, who drives the No. 10 entry for Kaulig’s Cup program, finished 11th at Atlanta on Feb. 21.
LaJoie and Dillon will join Kaulig Racing’s Ram contingent that includes Brenden “Butterbean” Queen in the No. 12, Timothy “Mini” Tyrrell in the No. 14 and Justin Haley in the No. 16.
FS1 will broadcast the Black's Tire 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race from Rockingham Speedway on Friday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
