Storms rolled through Kansas Speedway and canceled practice and qualifying for the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series on Friday night.

KANSAS CITY, Kansas -- Storms rolled through Kansas Speedway and canceled practice and qualifying for the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.

As a result, NASCAR set the lineup for Saturday night's race by the rulebook. That puts Carson Kvapil and his No. 1 JR Motorsports Chevrolet on the pole with William Byron and his No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet starting second.

The rulebook granted Kvapil and Byron the front row based on Connor Zilisch winning in the No. 1 car and Kyle Larson getting second in the No. 88 car.

JRM took the top-three spots with Justin Allgaier starting third. Sammy Smith, the other JRM car in the field, will start 11th in his No. 8 Chevrolet.

Corey Day, a quasi-teammate to JRM, will start sixth. He has yet to finish outside of the top-10 in his No. 17 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet since crashing out at Daytona.

Joe Gibbs Racing has three cars starting inside the top-10. Brent Crews will start fifth after challenging Zilisch and Larson at Bristol in his No. 19 Toyota Supra GR, while teammates William Sawalich and Taylor Gray will start seventh and 10th in the Nos. 18 and 54 Toyotas.

Other single entries in the top-10 are fourth-place starter Sheldon Creed in his No. 00 Chevrolet for Haas Factory Team, eighth-place starter Parker Retzlaff in his No. 99 Chevrolet for Viking Motorsports and ninth-place starter Jesse Love in his No. 2 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing.

Love's teammate, Austin Hill, starts 15th in his No. 21 Chevrolet, while Creed's teammate, Sam Mayer, starts 19th in his No. 41 Chevrolet. Retzlaff's teammate, Anthony Alfredo, will start 31st in his No. 96 Chevrolet.

Also starting outside of the top-10 is Brandon Jones, who won the most recent Kansas NOAPS race. He will start 14th in his No. 20 Toyota for JGR.

The NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series will race Saturday in the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway. The green flag is set for just after 7 p.m. ET on The CW, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
