NASCAR has added a country music fest near Petco Park to its upcoming San Diego race weekend.

SAN DIEGO – NASCAR has added a country music fest near Petco Park to its upcoming San Diego race weekend.

NASCAR is working with local Audacy country music station 103.7 KSON on the KSON NASCAR San Diego Country Fest. It's set to take place Saturday, June 20, at Gallagher Square at Petco Park in San Diego.

NASCAR San Diego Country Fest will bring what's described as an "unforgettable night of live country music." Stephen Wilson Jr., Carter Faith, Tim Dugger and Lakelin Lemmings are among the performers set to be a part of the festival.

The festival will bring together NASCAR San Diego, San Diego Padres, Live Nation and KSON.

“By collaborating with the Padres, Live Nation and KSON, we’re bringing together the energy of country music and the intensity of NASCAR racing,” said Amy Lupo, President of NASCAR San Diego. “This creates a one-of-a-kind experience for fans and gives us yet another unique opportunity to enhance our celebration of the United States Navy’s 250th anniversary.”

Tickets for the KSON NASCAR San Diego Country Fest will go on presale Wednesday. They'll go on sale to the general public Friday.

The fest will take place on the same day as the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Naval Base Coronado. The day before, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race will take place on Navy Community Day, where access will be only for U.S. Navy members at Naval Base Coronado and "a limited number of Coronado residents."

The weekend will culminate with the NASCAR Cup Series' Anduril 250 Race for the Base.

NASCAR "declassified" the layout of the 16-turn, 3.4-mile street course back in October.

Grandstand seating and hospitality will be available throughout the circuit, which is the longest course on NASCAR’s 2026 schedule. It features a quick right-hand turn after the finish-line, before two quick 90-degree left-handers launch competitors on a "high-octane journey" around the San Diego Bay and one of the world’s foremost military installations.

The start-finish line is named in honor of Commander Theodore Ellyson, Naval Aviator Number One. His training at North Island laid the foundation for its commissioning as a naval air station in 1917 and eventual recognition as the “Birthplace of Naval Aviation.”

The weekend is shaping up to be special, with seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson competing in the Cup and Truck races. He'll race for TRICON Garage in Friday's Truck race and for his Legacy Motor Club team in Sunday's Cup race.
