Here are the odds, TV times and more info as NASCAR is headed to San Diego and Naval Base Coronado for the first-ever NASCAR race weekend to be held on a U.S. naval base.

SAN DIEGO — NASCAR is headed to San Diego and Naval Base Coronado for the first-ever race weekend to be held on a U.S. naval base.

The NASCAR Cup Series, the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will all take over Naval Base Coronado for the June 19-21 weekend. There will be three races around 3.4-mile, 16-turn course during the NASCAR San Diego weekend. 

NASCAR Cup Series Anduril 250 Race the Base at Naval Base Coronado - San Diego

  • Sunday at 4 p.m. ET
  • 75 laps (Stages: 20/20/35)
  • Prime Video, Motor Racing Network affiliates, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90
  • Practice: Friday at 5 p.m.
  • Qualifying: Saturday 2:30 p.m.  
  • Last street course winner: Shane van Gisbergen (Chicago Street Course, 2025)

Three open entries made the trek out West for the Anduril 250.

Johnson is set to make his final Cup start in the 2027 Daytona 500.

Kevin Magnussen will race Trackhouse Racing's Project91 Chevrolet. Magnussen is a former Formula 1 driver and the son of Jan Magnussen, who finished 12th for Phoenix Racing in his lone Cup start at Sonoma Raceway in 2010.

Corey Heim, who will race full-time in the Cup Series in 2027, will trade in the neon-yellow Robinhood scheme for the Mobil 1 scheme.

NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series United Rentals Driven to Serve 250 at Naval Base Coronado - San Diego

  • Saturday at 5 p.m. ET
  • 60 laps (Stages: 15/15/30)
  • The CW, Motor Racing Network affiliates, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90
  • Practice: Friday at 3:30 p.m.
  • Qualifying: Saturday at 1 p.m.  
  • Last street course winner: Shane van Gisbergen (Chicago Street Course, 2025)

JR Motorsports' drivers will be in their usual rides this weekend with Carson Kvapil in the No. 1 car and Rajah Caruth in the No. 88 car.

Alex Labbe is back, this time with SS-Green Light Racing. Preston Pardus is also back on the heels of previous road course success, as well as Austin Green. Similarly, Brad Perez will race for Joey Gase Motorsports.

Andrew Patterson is getting another chance with Jordan Anderson Racing while Baltazar Leguizamon will race for Young's Motorsports.

Servicemember Jesse Iwuji will join Leland Honeyman Jr. this weekend.

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Navy 250 at Naval Base Coronado - San Diego

  • Friday at 7 p.m. ET
  • 50 laps (Stages: 12/12/26)
  • FS1, NASCAR Racing Network, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90
  • Practice: Friday at 12 p.m., 1 p.m.
  • Qualifying: Friday at 2 p.m.  
  • Last street course winner: Layne Riggs (Streets of St. Pete, Florida)

Jimmie Johnson headlines the notable entries, racing a No. 1 Toyota Tundra PRO for TRICON Garage this weekend. 

Former NASCAR Cup Series driver Jamie McMurray is also in the field. He is racing as Kaulig Racing's Free Agent driver in the No. 25 Ram.

McMurray isn't the only former driver in the field. Brendan Gaughan will race for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in his first NASCAR start since 2020.

Kaz Grala is also back after an absence.

Current NASCAR Cup Series series owner Justin Marks will race for Spire Motorsports.
