Rockstar Energy has partnered with NASCAR Cup Series driver Tyler Reddick and 23XI Racing as the energy drink brand returns to the motorsport.

LOS ANGELES — Rockstar Energy has partnered with NASCAR Cup Series driver Tyler Reddick and 23XI Racing as the energy drink brand returns to the motorsport.

Reddick will drive a Rockstar-sponsored No. 45 Toyota Camry XSE in the April 26 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

“Joining Rockstar Energy now is the right fit for both of us,” Reddick said. “From day one, it was clear we share that winner-take-all attitude. I’m fired up to rep the yellow star with the No. 45 team and bring Rockstar to victory lane this season.”

Talladega will be the first of more races to come for the Rockstar car in the 2026 season. Neither Rockstar nor 23XI announced which races the car will run beyond Talladega. However, the drink's branding will be seen on the team's equipment and hauler throughout the season.

Rockstar was a sponsor in NASCAR in the early-2010s with Dylan Kwasniewski. A rising star at the time, Kwasniewski made it to the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2014 with backing from the brand. However, since Kwasniewski and Rockstar failed to reach an agreement for 2015, the brand hasn't been very prominent in the sport.

“Partnering with Tyler Reddick brings authenticity to a brand built around our culture and embracing life to the fullest. He’s fearless, high-energy, and thrives in high-stakes moments,” said Steve Mateus, senior director of sports and music at Rockstar Energy. "His relentless drive mirrors a mindset of pushing limits, making him a natural extension of a brand that celebrates intensity, individuality, and unapologetic ambition.”

This isn't the first time Reddick has partnered with an energy drink brand in his Cup career. When the 2026 Daytona 500 champion moved over to the team in 2023, he had sponsorship from Monster Energy that lasted until the end of the 2025 season.

“Our goal is always to surround our drivers with partners that reflect their discipline, grit, and commitment to excellence and Rockstar’s ambition and support for Tyler signaled exactly that. Aligning with an athlete and team performing at this level speaks volumes to where the brand is headed in this new chapter,” said Steve Lauletta, 23XI team president. “Together, Rockstar and Tyler are poised to bring a lot of excitement to the track this season and we look forward to seeing the partnership come to life.”

Reddick leads the Cup points standings after eight races. Of those eight races, he has won half of them. He took home the checkered flag in the first three races (Daytona, EchoPark Speedway Atlanta, Circuit of the Americas) and at Darlington.

In the other four races, Reddick has finished inside the top-10 twice. Most recently, he finished fourth at Bristol, netting his first lead-lap finish in a Bristol Cup race since 2021.
