The Philadelphia 76ers' roster has to be trimmed down. We all know the main stars, but now it's time to pick who can be good if called in during a pinch.

The final preseason game is here, and it seems the Philadelphia 76ers have most of their roster set.

This means that they have to figure out who will have to be let go right before the regular season starts. Amid injuries, some may not make it, but they could prove themselves worthy in the final preseason game. Here’s the list of players who are on the bubble and may have to find a new team.

1. Rayan Rupert

Rupert may have played some meaningful minutes in this preseason, but there hasn’t been much traction for him. With other standout players like Jameer Nelson Jr. and Justin Edwards, he may have to be moved down to the G-League. The thing that could save him his versatility. Being 6 foot 7, he could play forward as well as guard. Head coach Nick Nurse loves a player that he can use in different sets.  The wingspan towering over seven feet is another positive that goes in his favor.

2. Dillon Jones

This is a player who was signed on an exhibit 10 contract. He may have never had a real chance at making this team and was used as a camp body. This doesn’t mean that he lacks potential, but this roster is just too stacked to see him getting a roster spot. Jones could be a good asset in the near future, but as of now, it’s going to be a bleak chance of him making it past the final cuts.

3. Tacko Fall

With all the injuries at the center position, Fall could make the team out of luck. He was also signed to the exhibit 10 contract, and truthfully, he’s been part of the injury list since he joined the team. Fall has tremendous length, and you can’t teach that. However, it’s not enough to have his name on the final roster. Fall was a great signing in terms of depth, but with him getting hurt, it made the signing pointless.

During the final preseason game, the starters will be playing a decent amount and will make it harder for the team to evaluate some players. This is where the second half is going to be crucial for some of these players. The hope is that everyone on this list can play and show why they can be a contributing member of this team. The team does have the option to add a few two-way contract players on this team; if they go that route, it could be a blessing for a player like Fall, who is currently injured.
