Philadelphia is doing everything to get there team ready for the season. Adding Dillion Jones could help with a lack of depth.

The Philadelphia 76ers have added another player to an Exhibit 10 contract.

The first set of Exhibit 10 contracts went out, and the guy who made everyone jump for joy was Tacko Fall. Now, the 76ers have made another move, adding Dillion Jones on that very contract. Jones is a two-time champion after winning back-to-back titles.

He won his first championship with the Oklahoma City Thunder before he was traded away to the Washington Wizards. He was then released and signed with the New York Knicks in 2026, where he helped head coach Mike Brown in getting the team ready to win a championship.

Being on his third team in just three years is really telling for a 24-year-old. The good thing is, there are not really huge expectations for the young center. While he is going to compete to try to earn a two-way contract, he’s really just a body to get everyone ready for the season. But don’t sleep on the young fella; he can still ball.

Jones played four years at Weber State for the Wildcats. In his first year he played in every game for them and won Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year. In year two, they started to see what the young center was capable of. He averaged a double-double and led the conference with 10 rebounds per game.

Each year, Jones got better and better. Junior year, he earned his second first-team All-Big Sky selection and went back-to-back as the leader in rebounds. Jones made an attempt to go to the NBA draft before ultimately deciding to finish out his final year at Weber State.

That decision paid off quite handsomely. Jones won Big Sky Player of the Year and posted career-highs across the board. He averaged 20.8 points a game, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. He even added two steals a game to his statline.

Those stats managed to get Jones drafted to the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 26th pick in the draft. Now, while his career hasn’t panned out the way he wanted, this could be a chance to start fresh. Jones has to be the one to stand out if he wants to make this team.

Philadelphia has been doing everything right to make this team the best it can be before the season starts. It’s up to the players to make this season one for the ages.
