Bucks Rule Out Kyle Kuzma Against Indiana Pacers cover image

The Milwaukee Bucks could be without two rotation players against the Indiana Pacers.

The Milwaukee Bucks are back in action on Friday as they take on the Indiana Pacers in Milwaukee. 

The Bucks are coming off back-to-back victories, scoring a win over the New Orleans Pelicans in overtime, 141-137, on Wednesday. The two straight wins come after the team had lost five straight. The contest against the Pacers wraps a three-game homestand for the Bucks. 

The Pacers have lost back-to-back games, falling to the Utah Jazz 131-122 in their last game. They are 2-3 in their last five. Their trip to Milwaukee begins a six-game road trip for the Pacers. 

This is the third meeting of the season between the two rivals, with the Bucks winning the first two. Milwaukee won 117-115 on November 3 and picked up a 111-94 victory on December 23. They will meet once more on March 15. 

Milwaukee Bucks Injury Report

Kyle Kuzma was a late addition to the injury report, listed as OUT with left calf soreness. 

He played 31 minutes against the Pelicans, finishing with seven points, six rebounds, and nine assists. He had 31 points in the game prior against the Bulls. 

Giannis Antetokounmpo is still on the Bucks past the NBA trade deadline, but he remains OUT of the lineup with a calf injury. 

Giannis has not played since January 23 against the Denver Nuggets, and was thought to be out four to six weeks. As of now, there is no timetable for his return. 

Bobby Portis is QUESTIONABLE with a right hip contusion. Portis has missed the last two games, not suiting up since February 1. 

In 47 games this season, Portis is averaging 13.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. 

Gary Harris is also QUESTIONABLE with a left hamstring strain. Harris has been out of the lineup since January 27. 

He is averaging 2.7 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 35 games this season for Milwaukee. 

Taurean Prince remains OUT after undergoing neck surgery. He has played in just eight games this season and isn't expected to suit up again. 

Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey are OUT and listed as "not with team" as they were part of a trade on Thursday. 

Alex Antetokounmpo is OUT on a G-League two-way deal. 

Indiana Pacers Injury Report

The Pacers made a big trade on Thursday, acquiring Ivica Zubac from the Los Angeles Clippers for Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson, and draft capital. 

Mathurin and Jackson are still listed on the Pacers' injury report, labeled as OUT, as they are not with the team. 

Tyrese Haliburton is, of course, OUT after undergoing Achilles surgery in the offseason. He is not expected to play this season. 

Micah Potter is QUESTIONABLE with a left hip contusion. He missed the Pacers' last game against Utah. 

In 18 games this season, Potter is averaging 6.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. 

Obi Toppin is OUT with a right foot stress fracture. He underwent surgery at the end of October and was expected to miss three months. 

Taelon Peter is DOUBTFUL on a G-League deal.
