The Celtics are coming off a 112-93 victory over the Sacramento Kings, bouncing back after a loss to the Atlanta Hawks. They have traded wins and losses in their last five games. This is the final game of a four-game homestand for Boston.
Sunday's showdown on ESPN is the second meeting of the season for the two teams. Milwaukee won 116-101 on December 11 in Milwaukee. They won't meet again until March 2.
Giannis Antetokounmpo remains OUT for the Bucks with a right calf strain. Giannis suffered the injury on January 23 against the Denver Nuggets. On January 26, the Bucks said that there is no timetable for his return.
He was expected to miss at least a month at the time of his injury.
Giannis is averaging 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 5.6 assists in 30 games this season.
Kevin Porter Jr is also OUT with a right oblique muscle strain. He's been sidelined since January 19. On January 21, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said that there is no timetable for his return.
He's averaging 16.8 points, five rebounds, and 7.4 assists in 23 games as the starting point guard this season.
The Bucks could welcome back Gary Harris to the lineup as he is PROBABLE with left hamstring soreness. Harris missed the game against the Wizards.
In 35 games this season, the veteran guard is averaging 2.7 points and shooting 47% from three on limited attempts.
Taurean Prince remains OUT after undergoing neck surgery and Alex Antetokounmpo is OUT on a G-League two-way deal.
The Celtics come into the game healthy, as all their regular rotation players are good to go, which means Jaylen Brown will return to the lineup. He missed the game against the Kings with a right knee contusion.
He is not listed on the injury report against the Bucks.
Jayson Tatum is, of course, OUT as he continues to rehab from a right Achilles tear. It remains to be seen if he plays this season.
Amari Williams is QUESTIONABLE on a G-League two-way deal. Ron Harper Jr and Max Shulga are OUT on G-League assignment.
