DeMarcus Cousins had some strong feelings about the Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo situation.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks have been an ongoing saga for months now and with the offseason fully underway and the NBA Draft just days away, there still isn't any clarity about what will actually happen with the team and their star player.
Antetokounmpo has been stoking the flames of trade rumors since the early weeks of the season, constantly complaining and admonishing the team while rumors swirled that he wanted to be traded to a contender as Milwaukee continued to falter in the regular season.
The the trade deadline came and passed with Antetokounmpo staying put, but his criticism of the team didn't stop. Now it's the offseason and since the moment the regular season ended there have been even more rumors that now would actually be the time that the Bucks would trade him away.

There have been reports of team offers and it even seems like the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat have emerged as finalists, and still there's no indication that a deal with either of those teams, or any team at all, is in the works.
On top of all of that, Antetokounmpo himself has been muddying the waters of his own feelings and where his loyalties lie, expressing his admiration and dedication to the Bucks organization while simultaneously doing nothing to expressly say that he wants to stay with the team or quiet any rumors.

Jeff Hanisch-Imagn ImagesNearly every major voice in the NBA has weighed in on the situation at this point and recently, former NBA star Demarcus Cousins weighed in on the situation in FanDuel TV's "Run It Back" program where he showed that he's had enough of the will-they-won't-they situation and thinks Milwaukee needs to make a deal once and for all.
Cousins Weighs In
"It's been a lot of back and forth in this situation, so I think it's just best that it gets done as soon as possible," Cousins said (via RunItBackFDTV). "I think Milwaukee kind of bit themselves in the a** in this situation as far as letting it drag out as much as it did. I think it's time to make this thing happen as soon as possible."
Cousins brought up another interesting point when it comes to how long this process has been drawn out and it's that it does have an impact on the Bucks' negotiating power.
The more that this process is drawn out and the more inconsistent that the relationship between Antetokounmpo and the Bucks looks, the less inclined prospective teams could be to invest their energy and their prospects into a deal that may not go anywhere, as it did at the trade deadline.
As Cousins put it, it's best that a deal, if one is going to happen, happens as soon as possible.
