The Milwaukee Bucks managed to snap their four game losing streak on Sunday with a 134-123 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

The Bucks need every win available to them right now as they hold out hope to catch the Charlotte Hornets for the final Play-In spot.

Milwaukee was led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with 31 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists in just 23 minutes.

Giannis left the game late in the third quarter. He was seen by spectators stretching his leg and riding the stationary bike in an effort to stay loose while also talking to Bucks medical officials about the next course of action.

He ultimately did not return.

Giannis Gives An Update

Speaking to reporters after the game, Giannis was asked about his injury situation

"Yeah, I think I hyperextended my knee. I haven't seen a clip. I want to see a clip. That's what I did," he said, referencing a play where he spun and threw down a dunk on Pacers center Jay Huff before landing awkwardly. The dunk happened with 3:48 remaining in the third.

Giannis exited the game at the 2:19 mark.

"I've had an injury like this before. The moment you kind of step away from the game and you don't stay loose, it's going to get stiff and in pain. I won't be able to move and then other things are impacted by that, from your ankles to calves to hips. Your body is not aligned. I had a conversation with [medical team]. I don't think anything has changed. I wanted to get back in the game. They looked at me and said, 'No, it's not worth it.' We were up 13-15. 'It's not worth it.' For me, every game is worth it," said Giannis.

The Bucks led the game 89-83 when Giannis exited the game. They went up 111-96 with 10:21 left in the fourth quarter and then extended the lead to 119-101 with 8:45 left.

"You just have to listen. I'm not trying to make it bigger than it is. I felt like I could have finished the game. The team said it wasn't smart of me to do so. I just have to trust them and go from there," he said.

Giannis noted that he doesn't take any game for granted.

Giannis Injury History

It's been a trying season for the Bucks All-Star as Milwaukee has underperformed from expectations set on the franchise, given that they house one of the top five players in the world.

Giannis has missed significant chunks of the season with various lower body injuries.

He's been limited to 36 games this season, averaging 27.6 points per game, his lowest total since 2017-18. This will be the first time in his career that he's played less than 60 games in a season.

As of now, Giannis' status for Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers is not known. The Bucks have 15 games remaining in the season and are 5.5 games behind the Hornets for the final Play-In spot.
