The Bucks could get a huge return from Miami.

The moment that could send Giannis Antetokounmpo away from the Milwaukee Bucks seems to be drawing near with a shortlist of plausible trade candidates and looking at the potential package out of South Beach, Bucks fans may be able to expect more in return for the franchise star than they ever could have imagined.

The Miami Heat have been named as really one of two likely destinations for Antetokounmpo, the other being the Boston Celtics, and with Boston receiving the most traction with reports that they're going to use Jaylen Brown in negotiations, the Heat will be forced to step up their game and sweet their offer.

That's at least what a report from Marc Stein in his Substack "The Stein Line" indicates, with Stein writing that sources have told him that the Heat are willing to offer an absolutely massive package in exchange for Antetokounmpo that could change the makeup of the Bucks roster virtually overnight.

A Huge Haul

"A deal, league sources say, that would feature Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware and Jaime Jaquez Jr. as presumed certainties among Heat veterans to be headed to Milwaukee along with the No. 13 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft as well as additional but not-yet-specified draft compensation," Stein wrote.

Herro and Kel'El Ware have been mentioned in potential packages before, but Jaquez Jr. is a newer name to these rumors and is a massive addition that shows just how hungry the Heat are to bring Antetokounmpo home to them.

Those three players alone constitute a team-shaping change, not even mentioning who the unnamed veteran players that Stein mentioned could be.

Jaquez Jr. was the runner-up for Sixth Man of the Year this season after averaging 15.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 28.3 minutes per game.

Building A Young Core

Paring that kind of production with Herro, who may have been held back by injures for most of the season but still put up respectable numbers and maintained his shooting efficiency on top of Kel'el Ware's still-growing skill as a scorer and rim protector leaves the Bucks with an intriguing number of options.

Now, none of those three players are at the level of Brown with the Celtics by any means and if Boston is indeed planning on making Brown the centerpiece of their own trade package, Miami will have to impress with the veterans their offering or with prospective draft picks to deal away.

But, for a Bucks team that will need to start a rebuild after trading Antetokounmpo away, Miami's trio of young studs is a good place to start.
