The Milwaukee Bucks clearly need to do something different this offseason in order to correct course after a disappointing 32-50 season and while the free agent market is one way to reshape the team, the more immediate way is to enter the trade market. 

For several seasons, Milwaukee has made several strategic trades and free agent signings to try and build the team back to it's championship-winning heyday of 2021 and even with a less-than-stellar finish to the season, the Bucks still have a roster with that features several players that could attract intriguing offers across the league. 

No surprise here. Giannis Antetokounmpo is not just the top trade piece that the Bucks have to offer, he's the premier trade prospect across the entire NBA.

Even after a season deeply held back by injuries for the Greek star where he played a career-low in games, something that should be a worrying sign, he's remained a top player when healthy. 

Antetokounmpo averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 28.9 minutes per game, again his lowest minutes since his rookie season after playing with minutes restrictions after returning from injury, but that kind of production is still outstanding and shows what the two-time MVP is still capable of.

It looks more and more likely that Antetokounmpo will be traded and at this point it's not a question of Antetokounmpo's value, but if the Bucks can find a return package that they'll be satisfied with.

Trading Antetokounmpo is Milwaukee's signal that the team is committing to a rebuild and the haul they get in return, whether that takes the form of existing players, draft picks, or the more likely combination of both, will serve as the new foundation of the team. 

The Bucks brought Myles Turner on this season to create what should have been a formidable physical duo inside the paint alongside Antetokounmpo, but that duo never truly materialized, largely in part due to Antetokounmpo missing so much time so that the pair couldn't form chemistry.

Independent of Antetokounmpo though, Turner experienced a major down year, averaging 11.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game. 

It definitely wasn't the production that the Bucks signed him for and with over $80 million still due to him over the next three seasons, finding a match for Turner on the trade market would free up Milwaukee as the team seeks a younger direction. 

Even with Turner's down year, he still presents a lot of promise as a physical center with a high defensive approach and solid offense.

There have been reports that the Bucks may even package Antetokounmpo and Turner together for a trade, keeping the dream of the duo alive. 

Kevin Porter Jr., like Antetokounmpo, was held back by injuries for most of the season and played in just 38 games, but he was sure to make an impact when he was on the floor. 

Porter averaged 17.4 points, the second-most in his career, along with 5.2 rebounds and a career-high 7.4 assists while shooting 46.5% from the field in 38 games this season and even with the relatively small sample size, Porter Jr. showed a tremendous amount of promise. 

Still just 26-years-old, Porter Jr. has an encouraging future ahead of him as a dependable shooter, that can add a spark to any offense and if the Bucks can connect with a team willing to take on Porter Jr. despite his injuries, Milwaukee could swing a nice package of draft picks in the process.
