The Chicago Bulls have not held a record above .500 since Thanksgiving, but this weekend's slate of games is a prime opportunity for Billy Donovan's squad to begin a new winning streak.
On Friday night, the Bulls are set to face the stumbling Nets on the road. Brooklyn has dropped its last five games and eight of its last nine, giving the 11-27 Nets the fifth-worst record in the NBA.
The Bulls and Nets will then play again on Sunday, this time in the Windy City. Brooklyn won the lone previous meeting between the two on Dec. 3, 113-103.
Coby White (calf) returns for Chicago on Friday, as the Bulls' guard ramps back up from an injury that has lingered the entire season.
Michael Porter Jr. leads the Nets in his first season with the team, averaging a career-high 25.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He ranked ninth in the Eastern Conference's All-Star voting in the NBA's most recent returns and could certainly make his first-ever appearance in the All-Star Game.
