The 2025-26 NBA season is officially underway after the Thunder and the Rockets tipped off on Tuesday night. Chicago will look to take advantage of an Eastern Conference in disarray this year, though the Bulls will be without guard Coby White and forward Zach Collins when they take the floor against Detroit in their home opener. The Pistons and Bulls are set to begin their respective seasons on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. CT.

Chicago is entering a pivotal season. The team has not made the playoffs since 2021-22 season, signed point guard Josh Giddey to a new four-year contract during the summer and have several key players that will hit unrestricted free agency in 2026. With the East wide open, the time is now for the Bulls to make the leap.
