On Friday, the Chicago Bulls unveiled their new court for the Emirates NBA Cup 2025. The court has an all grey design, a very stark contrast to the bright red court that Chicago used last NBA Cup, much to the chagrin of many Bulls fans. The Bulls court for this year's NBA Cup also has the stars of the Chicago flag beneath the NBA Cup trophy logo and the words "Chicago" at center court, along with NBA Cup trophies filling the key, using the elbows to create a clean image. The Bulls trademark "See Red" moniker sits on one courtside area, with the NBA logo sitting on the opposite courtside area.

Bulls fans will get to see this new, grey-based, NBA Cup court when the Bulls take on the New York Knicks on October 31st. That Halloween night clash will be the first of the Bulls four NBA Cup matches in the "group stage." Following their game against the Knicks, the Bulls--as all other NBA teams do--have regular season (non-NBA Cup) games scheduled in-between their next NBA Cup clashes.

For the rest of their cup schedule, Chicago plays at the Milwaukee Bucks on November 7th, the Miami Heat come the United Center on November 21st, and then play in Charlotte against the Hornets on November 28th. If the Bulls can finish with the best record in their group, or the best record among teams to finish second in their respective groups, then they would move on to the Knockout Rounds. These rounds are single-elimination games. The Semifinals and NBA Cup Championship games are played in Las Vegas on Dec. 13 and Dec. 16. And, of course, the prize for the winning team is a prize pool (cash) and the NBA Cup championship trophy.

Chicago will be looking for a better showing in this year's NBA Cup after going 2-2 in Group C last season. Last season's Group C consisted of the Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Washington Wizards. Among that group, the Bulls finished 4th, only ahead of the Wizards. Chicago was tied with Cleveland with a 2-2 record, but the Cavs finished far ahead of the Bulls on Point Differential at +30 compared to Chicago's +6.

The Bulls hope to be close to full strength for the NBA Cup. Last season's leading scorer Coby White, is still out nursing a right calf strain, which will see him get reevaluated (approximately) on November 3rd. If everything goes well with White's recovery, there is a great chance we see him on the Bulls grey, NBA Cup court on November 7th against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks.
