The 2026-27 NBA season is rapidly nearing, and the Chicago Bulls are just 20 days away from tipping off their preseason schedule against the Phoenix Suns.
On Friday morning, the franchise announced its training camp schedule and the date of its Media Day, signifying that the resumption of basketball is almost upon us. Chicago will hold its Media Day on Monday, Sep. 28, at 11 a.m. CT. Roundtable Sports will have live coverage from the United Center throughout the day as executive vice president of basketball operations Bryson Graham, head coach Tiago Splitter and select Bulls players speak to the media.
Last season's Media Day largely revolved around the vision of former lead executive Arturas Karnisovas and whether he would commit to a rebuild or chase a postseason berth. Graham has already begun to implement his vision and shape the Bulls as he sees fit, and a big point of emphasis during the upcoming Media Day will likely be Chicago's plans to build around No. 4 overall pick Caleb Wilson and 21-year-old Matas Buzelis.
The Bulls will then officially begin training camp on Tuesday, Sep. 29. Chicago will hold daily practices at the Advocate Center until Friday, Oct. 2, when the Bulls will leave the facility for an open practice session in the city.
The open practice will be held at Horner Park, located at 2741 W Montrose Ave. in the Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago. It is set for 2-3 p.m. CT. Further details have yet to be revealed.

The Bulls will host the Phoenix Suns at 7 p.m. CT, followed by the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. CT.
Splitter and Co. then hit the road to face the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 8 p.m. CT before playing the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. CT. The Bulls will return home to host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. CT.
Training camp and the preseason will be very telling for the kind of season Chicago is likely to have. Wilson and Buzelis will headline the group, but free-agent acquisition Norman Powell and point guard Josh Giddey are intriguing players whose fits raise long-term questions.
The Bulls tip off the regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 21, in Toronto against the Raptors.
