Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen's possible reconciliation has been fresh on the mind of a legendary former Bulls teammate.
Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are among the most famous teammates in the history of sports, having led the Chicago Bulls to back-to-back three-peats, six NBA championships total, during a combined 25 years with the franchise.
On April 19, 2020, The Last Dance was released, a wildly popular documentary that Pippen said he "wasn't too pleased" about as he felt it was used as a way for Jordan "trying to uplift himself and be glorified."
Pippen addressed his relationship with the at-times elusive global icon Jordan in a recent interview during which he admitted things changed in the duo's relationship.
"It was never a very close relationship," Pippen said in September 2025.
"But when we played, we had great chemistry. That's the way this business is.
"Same with Phil Jackson. We're not close friends anymore. That's life, things change," Pippen added.
On Tuesday, Bulls legend Horace Grant, a key cog on three Bulls championship teams alongside Jordan and Pippen, shared his thoughts on the situation, saying he hopes and prays for a change before it's too late.

Grant spoke to Kyle Odegard of Action Sports Network during which he gave his unfiltered take on what he'd like to see between the two world famous former teammates.
He also used Jordan's recent decision to reconcile with longtime rival and friend Charles Barkley as an example as to what he'd like to see happen in the future.
"It was great to see MJ and Charles reconnect, because they'd been friends forever," Grant said to Odegard.
Former MLB player Vince Coleman helped to reunite Jordan and Barkley during a golf outing with Jordan.
"I hope and pray that the same thing happens with MJ and Pip. I talk to Scottie two or three times a week," Grant said.
"I hope they can get this thing together. I'm 61. Pip is 60. MJ is 63. We're in the twilights of our lives," the former Bulls forward added.
Former Bulls teammates Randy Brown and Dennis Rodman (who recently reconciled with former on-court adversary Alonzo Mourning) have also expressed hope for a Jordan/Pippen reconciliation.
Pippen said he told Jordan his thoughts about The Last Dance directly, to which Jordan was accepting.
"I told him I wasn't too pleased with it and he accepted it," Pippen said to his former teammate.
"He said, 'Hey, you're right.'"
Grant Excited For 2026-27 Bulls
Grant also shared his thoughts on the 2026-27 Bulls, saying he is excited for the future of the team with 2026 first-round pick Caleb Wilson (#4 overall), point guard Josh Giddey, and others.
"Oh my goodness, man," Grant said in his exclusive interview with Odegard. "What a beast. What a freakin' beast," he said of Wilson.
"He has all the intangibles, the skillset. But what I love about him is that he has the mindset of a killer. A dog. He goes out and gets it."
Wilson and the Bulls will attempt to continue Jordan and Pippen's legacy this season starting on Oct. 21 against the Raptors in Toronto.
