

The NBA is full of a ton of players who get along with one another no matter what team they're on. Then there are some players who can't say they share that same love.
Donovan Mitchell and Dillion Brooks are two of those players who don't quite get along. Both players were ejected in Thursday night's game after an altercation in the third quarter.
It's safe to say that Mitchell wasn't the biggest fan of what Brooks did to him in the third quarter. This is what the Cavs shooting guard said after the game when asked if he thought Brooks cheap-shotted him:

Mitchell went on to say that this isn't an isolated event. It's something that has been brewing for years but it finally reached its tipping point in Thursday night's game.
Cleveland's guard does have a point in protecting himself. He was clearly a victim of a cheap shot and you can't just let that happen to you. The ejection was warranted but that's as far as the punishment should go.
