The Celtics star was asked to blind rank his top five PGA Tour golfers this week.

If you need a decent laugh on a Friday afternoon at the end of a long work week, look no further than Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum, who was asked by Celtics social media to "blind rank" his top five PGA Tour golfers.

By this point, you've seen these videos, which usually end with someone regretting their decisions as they end up with something they really love at the bottom of the list.

In this case, Tatum ended up with Scottie Scheffler at No. 1, which is certainly fine considering Scheffler is the No. 1 ranked player in the world. He ended up with Rory McIlroy at No. 2, which is also fine since McIlroy has completed the golf grand slam and is the reigning Masters champion.

The Celtics forward then ended up with New England native Keegan Bradley at No. 3, Wyndham Clark at No. 4 and Collin Morikawa at No. 5.

Tatum revealed at the end of the video that he was "waiting for Jon Rahm" and that "Rahm is his guy."

There is only one issue with that though: Rahm is no longer on the PGA Tour, which Tatum doesn't seem to realize.

Now, we don't blame him for not being up on the PGA and LIV Golf issues of the last five years or so, but Rahm left the PGA Tour before the 2024 season to link up with LIV, which is a breakaway golf league that has whittled away some of the PGA's top stars over the years.

However, LIV is in financial distress and could potentially fold at the end of the year. If it doesn't fold, Rahm appears set to leave it anyways, meaning that he could eventually end up on the PGA Tour again.

If he does, then Tatum can start ranking him again on these lists in the future. Rahm won the Masters in 2023.

Celtics schedule revealed

After going 56-26 and earning the No. 2 seed in the NBA's Eastern Conference playoffs last season, the Celtics will kick off the new NBA season on Oct. 20 against the Detroit Pistons, as noted by the league office in Thursday's schedule release.

As always, the Celtics will play 82 games in total, with 41 games at home and 41 on the road. They will participate in in the NBA Cup for the third straight year, this time with the Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards as their group mates.

After having compiled the five must-watch games on the C's schedule for the year, we took a deeper look at some of the scheduling quirks that Boston will face.
