Queta has been a breakout player for Joe Mazzulla's team this season and he continued that against the Bucks on Friday.
The Boston Celtics blew out the Milwaukee Bucks 133-101 on Friday night in Milwaukee, Wisc., moving to 52-25 with five games left in the regular season.
Boston also moved to within four games of the Detroit Pistons for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race, though it's just a matter of time before Detroit locks that up and put the Celtics in the No. 2 position.
The Bucks, one of the most disappointing teams in the league, fell to 30-47 on the campaign.
Here's what you need to know:
Queta makes obscure history
The big man started, playing 29 minutes and scoring 19 points. He was efficient from the floor, going 8-of-11, and he was also 3-of-4 at the foul line. A rebounding machine, Queta pulled down 10 boards and dished out two assists. He also had four blocks, making his biggest impact in the opening quarter, which Boston won by 17.
Per Taylor Snow on social media:
Neemias Queta is the 4th NBA player on record with at least 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks and 80.0 FG% in the opening quarter of a game.
The others:
Anthony Davis
Emeka Okafor
Chris Webber
That's certainly good company for Queta, who has had a breakout season. The 26-year-old from Utah State is averaging 10.1 ppg and 8.4 rebounds. He has three consecutive games of double-figure scoring totals and he has two double-doubles in that time. He has 16 double-doubles on the campaign.
Elsewhere in the box score
One game after getting a triple-double, Jayson Tatum came close to doing it again. The superstar, who has returned from a torn Achilles, had 23 points with 11 rebounds and nine assists. Jaylen Brown had 26 points to lead the team in scoring, going 10-of-11 at the line.
Derrick White (17) and Payton Pritchard (16) also scored in double-figures, giving Boston six players with 10 points or more.
The Celtics hit 17 three-pointers while Milwaukee actually hit 21. More than half of the Bucks' field goals were from beyond the arc.

The Celtics will take on the Toronto Raptors on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. ET at TD Garden. They'll do so with a different-than-usual television broadcast as NBC Sports Boston will deploy an "all-female broadcast team."
Longtime C's sideline reporter Abby Chin will handle the play-by-play duties. She's been with the Celtics since 2013 and certainly has an excellent knowledge of the organization.
