The C's will introduce Paul George, Mitchell Robinson and Mike Conley next week.
Despite acquiring each of them over the summer, the Boston Celtics have not officially introduced the trio of Mitchell Robinson, Paul George and Mike Conley yet.
Instead of doing it around the times of their signings or trade acquisitions, the C's are waiting until a press conference on Tuesday, about two weeks before the beginning of training camp.
Brad Stevens and Joe Mazzulla will both be present at the press conference, and there are multiple things that we want to know.
So, let's dive in:
1) What is the plan for Robinson?
The big man, who was signed after winning a title with the New York Knicks, hasn't been a true starter or since the 2022-23 season. After getting signed for nearly $50 million this offseason, it seems like Robinson is in line for a big role this year, but how does that compare to Neemias Queta?
Who has the inside track at a starting spot? And how do the Celtics plan to utilize Robinson's skillset? Could we see Robinson and Queta on the floor at the same time?
2) How does George feel about being traded for Jaylen Brown?
What was his mindset like after the trade? How does he feel about the opportunity in Boston? Does he feel like he needs to truly "replace" Brown? And what excites him about the possibility of playing alongside Jayson Tatum?
3) Why did Conley want to keep playing?
The veteran point guard is coming up on the 20th season of his career. What motivates him to keep playing, and why was Boston the right choice for him? How does he think he can help the team at this point of his career, and how much of that help will come from his ability to mentor younger players?
4) How does Robinson's championship experience help?
With a championship ring now in hand, how does that help Robinson this year? Does it give him more confidence? More patience? More intensity?
Several Celtics players also have championship experience, so how does everyone blend their experience together?
5) How healthy does George feel?
The veteran has played 57 games or less in six of the last seven seasons, and he played only 37 games in 2025-26. How does he feel at this point and what does he think he can give to the group on a nightly basis?
What is the organization's plan to keep him healthy and available?
