Mikel Brown Jr. headlines a revamped draft class as Sacramento targets elite backcourt talent and versatile wing depth to bolster Scott Perry’s roster reshuffle.

With the 2026 NBA Draft just one week away, ESPN's Jeremy Woo released his updated 60-pick mock, projecting the Sacramento Kings to land Louisville guard Mikel Brown Jr. with the No. 7 selection.

I recently reported on Brown's camp shutting down any further scheduling for pre-draft workouts, which usually hints towards a draft promise being made.

The Kings are one team who did workout the Louisville standout guard, who according to ESPN College Basketball Analyst Sean Farham, has the momentum on his side to potentially "leapfrog" the other talented guard prospects.

Woo confirmed that Arkansas guard Darius Acuff Jr. is still likely the top target for Sacramento, but noted that the team has not indicated wanting to move up.

"They are in the early stages of reshuffling the roster under [General Manager] Scott Perry and aren't replete with extra trade assets," Woo wrote. "They have done plenty of work on the other guards in this range, including Brown and Kingston Flemings, and they appear to be comfortable waiting to see which player falls."

Following Brown is Cincinnati forward Baba Miller, who has been a popular second-round choice for the Kings.

Last Thursday, Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor also projected Miller to Sac Town, giving the Kings length and versatility on the wing.

After three seasons in the Sunshine State, Miller broke out with Cincinnati, averaging a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Miller's 3.7 assists per game also led the team, as he frequently brought the ball up for the Bearcats.

He plays a fluid game for his size, moving well with and without the ball.

On Monday, Miller had a pre-draft workout with Sacramento, joining five other draft hopefuls.

Rounding out Woo's predicted class is Arkansas forward Trevon Brazile.

Brazile has a modern-day forward's build, standing at 6-foot-10, 230 pounds with a near 7-foot-4 inch wingspan.

His length allows him to impact shots on the defensive end, while rising up for highlight dunks on offense.

Brazile never averaged less than 1.1 blocks per game in his five-year career, while also nearly averaging a steal.

Like Miller, Brazile had a workout with Sacramento, where he talked about being grateful for the opportunity to compete.

Surrounding Brown with strong forwards like Brazile and Miller would be beneficial for each party, as both wings would get open floor looks from the Louisville standout's vision and pace.
