The Los Angeles Lakers could be without two important starters as they take on the Dallas Mavericks.

The Los Angeles Lakers look to go into the All-Star break with a victory against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Lakers got trounced in their last game, losing 136-108 to the San Antonio Spurs. The Lakers were without Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Austin Reaves, and Deandre Ayton. They were also on a back-to-back following a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Mavericks have lost eight straight, a streak that began on January 24 with a 116-110 loss to the Lakers. They are in the middle of a six-game road trip.

This is the third meeting of the season between the two teams. The Lakers won the first two, with the first meeting taking place on November 28. They will play once more at the end of the season on April 5.
