The Los Angeles Lakers will be without Luka Doncic against the Washington Wizards.

The Los Angeles Lakers will continue their homestand when they host the Washington Wizards on Monday. 

The Lakers are coming off a 116-99 victory over the Brooklyn Nets, their second straight win. They have won 11 of their last 12. They sit third in the West with a 48-26 record. They lead the Denver Nuggets by a game and are two games ahead of the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves. 

The Wizards have lost two straight, dropping their last game to the Portland Trail Blazers, 123-88. They have lost 18 of their last 19. They are 14th in the East with a 17-57 record, a half game better than the Indiana Pacers.

The Lakers won the only other meeting between the two teams back on January 30, easily handling the Wizards in Washington, 142-111. 

Los Angeles Lakers Injury Report

Luka Doncic is OUT as he is serving a league suspension for picking up his 16th technical foul of the season. A 16th technical comes with an automatic one-game suspension. He picked up the technical in the last game against the Brooklyn Nets. 

This will be the first game Luka has missed since February 12. He is averaging 33.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists this season. 

Marcus Smart remains OUT with a right ankle contusion. He has been sidelined since March 21. There is no timetable for his return. He is averaging 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 60 games in his first season with the Lakers. 

Adou Thiero is OUT with left knee injury management. The rookie out of Arkansas has been out since March 23 and has appeared in only 20 games this season. 

Washington Wizards Injury Report

Bilal Coulibaly is QUESTIONABLE with right retrocalcaneal bursitis. He played 24 minutes against the Blazers on Sunday, finishing with four points on a tough 2-14 shooting night. He also contributed five rebounds and two assists. He hasn't missed a game since March 19. 

Anthony Gill is QUESTIONABLE with right ankle soreness. He played 31 minutes against the Blazers, finishing with eight points and three rebounds. He hasn't missed a game since March 3. 

Kyshawn George is OUT with a left elbow sprain. He's been sidelined since March 2. On March 4, it was reported that he would be reevaluated in three weeks. 

Cam Whitmore is OUT with right shoulder deep vein thrombosis. He hasn't played since December 4 and will not return this season. 

Trae Young is OUT with low back pain and a right quad contusion. There is no timetable for his return. 

Anthony Davis is OUT with a left finger sprain. He is sidelined through at least the end of the month. 

D'Angelo Russell is OUT as he is not with the team. 

Leaky Black and Julian Reese are QUESTIONABLE on G-League two-way deals.
