Wagner shares surreal feelings returning to Germany, prioritizing team defense, and his distinct injury recovery journey. Excited for Thursday's game.

On being in Germany for the games and how special the experience is:

"Yeah, really special. Honestly, a little surreal. Obviously want to make the most of it."

On how he felt after practice following the long flight:

"Felt good. Felt good to move a little bit after the long flight and I'm excited for Thursday."

On the potential special nature of making his return in Germany if able to play:

"Yeah, it will be really cool. Just really excited for Thursday. It's going to be a great day, obviously, not just for everybody at the game, but I think for German basketball in general. So excited to be a part of that."

On what he's noticed about the team while watching from the sidelines:

"I think we got to find a little bit back to our identity, play a little bit better defense, and we'll continue to work on our half court offense and figure out how we can be more effective."

On how this recovery compared to his injury last year:

"Way different. Obviously last year I couldn't shoot literally for weeks at a time. So it was different from that standpoint. And other than that, time wise almost the exact same day. But at the same time, I was obviously frustrated, but also relieved at the same time that it wasn't anything worse. So couldn't really be mad at that."
