How to Watch Nets at Clippers, Plus Betting Preview cover image

Can Brooklyn redeem itself from a devastating loss to the Boston Celtics? Here's where to watch Nets at Clippers.

The Brooklyn Nets head out west with a bitter taste in their mouth.

All stemming from the botched opportunity to knock off the Boston Celtics -- from Michael Porter Jr. admitting the defensive lapse toward the end of the fourth quarter and Jordi Fernandez acknowledging the missed chance at pulling the upset.

Now they enter the Intuit Dome to take on the Los Angeles Clippers, who are also struggling and facing landing an NBA Draft Lottery pick.

The YES Network will air the Nets game as the flagship station for Brooklyn games. FanDuel Sports Network SoCal will also show the game for the L.A. audience. NBA League Pass is one more outlet for fans who don't have access to both networks, though a subscription is required for League pass.

Time for the betting preview with Fernie Ruano:

Do opposites attract in L.A.?

We’ll find out on Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. (ET), when the downtrodden Brooklyn Nets (12-31) visit the scorching hot Los Angeles Clippers (20-24) at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

The road underdog Nets (+8.5, -105), coming off a 130-126 loss in OT to the Boston Celtics, are a respectable 21-22 against the spread this season and 10-10 in games they are ‘dogs as +8.5 or more.

Brooklyn, 1-9 overall in their last 10 games, have dropped four in a row and their most recent setback, despite 30 points from Micheal Porter Jr., may take a while to fully recover from as the Nets led 117-112 with 7.9 seconds left in the first OT — but game up two three-pointers in-between a free throw from Nolan Traore, who despite the miss scored a career-high 21 points.

The Nets are +300 on the moneyline. The over/under is 211.5 points, per DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Clippers (-12.5, -115), 10th in the Western Conference, are 8-2 in their last 10 games and 12-9 at home this season.

Cam Thomas (ankle) is out and Noah Clowney (back), averaging 13.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game this season, is doubtful for the Nets. For the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard (illness/knee) is questionable, while Derrick Jones Jr. (ankle sprain) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring) remain out.

Leonard is averaging 28.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season.

Nets vs. Clippers betting analysis:

If the Nets were your side-piece you would probably be thinking about jumping off a train in Hoboken, New Jersey right about now.

How else to explain a team that losses by 54 points to their cross-town rival Knicks on Wednesday and takes the Celtics to double OT, two nights later?

But use extreme caution if you’re an NBA bettor thinking about taking the points with the Nets as the Clippers, coming off a victory over the Lakers, have been off since Thursday and Brooklyn will be be playing for the second night in three days.
