With elite length and explosive athleticism, this Razorback standout offers the interior defense and floor-spacing potential Brooklyn needs to bolster their frontcourt with a second-round steal.
The Brooklyn Nets have significant draft capital work with, picking at No. 6, 33, and 43.
While projected top-8 pick Darius Acuff Jr. was the catalyst of Arkansas' SEC Title run, multiple other players mocked later in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft were big reasons for the Razorbacks' success.
In this profile, I will highlight Trevon Brazile, who spent four seasons in Fayetteville.
Physical Traits
Brazile has a modern-day forward's build, standing at 6-foot-10, 230 pounds with a near 7-foot-4 inch wingspan.
His length allows him to impact shots on the defensive end, while rising up for highlight dunks on offense.
Brazile never averaged less than 1.1 blocks per game in his five-year career, while also nearly averaging a steal.
3-Point Shooting
Brazile's 3-point shot has always been a work in progress, with him taking twice as many long balls last season as the year prior.
Despite shooting just 34.1-percent, Brazile's shooting motion looks comfortable and confident, with teams treating him as a 3-point threat.
In Arkansas' 86-75 SEC Championship over Vanderbilt, Brazile knocked down 4-of-5 deep balls, adding nine rebounds and three blocks.
This performance marked the fourth time Brazile made four or more threes in an outing last year.
Perseverance Through Injury
After a solid freshman season with Missouri, Brazile suffered a torn ACL eight games into his Arkansas career, sidelining him for the 2022-2023 season.
Brazile's next two seasons, he played solid minutes for the Razorbacks, moving in-and-out of the starting lineup.
However, his final year was different.
Brazile was a full-time starter for head coach Jon Calipari and took large strides in getting him back to NBA consideration.
Part of this was due to his offseason preperation, as former Arkansas basketball assistant and current radio color commentator Matt Zimmerman said last July.
"This is the fourth June I’ve seen him work out and this is by far the best June he’s had," Zimmerman said in an interview on Out of Bounds on 103.7 The Buzz. "He’s never looked this good in June."
Draft Projection
Brazile is seen as a mid-second round pick, making him a target for Brooklyn with their two later selections.
In ESPN's post-combine mock, Brazile landed with the Sacramento Kings at pick No. 45.
Are Nets a Fit?
The Nets need more athleticism and interior defense, two of Brazile's major appeals.
Brazile's improvement as a 3-point shooter is also intriguing for a team looking for a high-floor big who can knock down an open triple.
