For the second time this season, the San Antonio Spurs will take on the Dallas Mavericks. Cooper Flagg is back in the lineup for the Mavs, and the Spurs know that they won't be able to skate past their in-state rival without a challenge.
For the second time this season, the San Antonio Spurs will take on the Dallas Mavericks. In the first matchup, the Spurs picked up their first win of the season, 122-106. Victor Wembanyama and Dylan Harper both scored over 20 points in that game, and Dallas' only major bright spot was Sergio de Larrea, who scored 21 for the Mavs.
Of course, neither Cooper Flagg nor Kyrie Irving suited up in that game. The Mavericks still have a pretty loaded injury report, but their two best players will be back in action. The Mavericks are 4-2 this season with Flagg in the lineup, leaps and bounds better than they were last season.
Averaging a complete 25.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game this season (along with stellar defense), Flagg is knocking on the door as a top-ten player in the NBA. Expect him to have another monster game on Wednesday.
Before tipoff, we have you covered with everything you need to know, from betting odds to TV info, and injury reports for both squads.

Dallas is certainly healthier and better prepared for Wednesday's game, even with de Larrea and Christie added to the injury report. The Spurs know not to let their guard down.
"I think they were good without them, too," said Stephon Castle of Flagg and Irving returning to action. "So you add those two guys, it makes the guys that are off the ball a lot more dangerous. And I think just playing them without them brings a certain level of confidence and focus, especially coming into those games. But with them having their main guys, I know our guys would be ready for it."
The Spurs remain heavy favorites and are looking to extend their first winning streak of the year to six straight.
