The Minnesota Timberwolves are looking healthy as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers

The Minnesota Timberwolves try to get back on track as they take on Los Angeles Clippers in an afternoon showdown ahead of the Super Bowl. 

The Timberwolves suffered a tough loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, falling 119-115 at home. They have traded wins and losses in their last four games. This will be the second of six straight at home for the team. 

The Clippers snapped a two game losing streak with a 114-111 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Friday. They are 2-3 in their last five. This will be the second game on a four game road trip. 

This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Timberwolves scored a 109-106 victory back on December 6. They will meet two more season, first on February 26 and again on March 11. 

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

The Timberwolves come into the game healthy as all five of the usual starters are expected to suit up. Anthony Edwards, Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, Jaden McDaniels, and Donte DiVincenzo are all off the injury report. 

The only rotation played on the injury report is Julian Phillips, who is QUESTIONABLE with a right wrist sprain. 

Phillips was traded from Chicago at the deadline, but did not suit up against the Pelicans. He's been out since February 1. In 35 games for the Bulls this season, Phillips is averaging 2.8 points and 1.3 rebounds. 

Terrence Shannon Jr remains OUT with a left foot abductor hallucis strain. He's been out since Christmas Day. He's played 22 games this season, averaging 4.5 points and 1.3 rebounds. 

Johnny Juzang and Rocco Zikarsky are OUT on G-League two-way deals. 

Los Angeles Clippers Injury Report

The Clippers will continue to be shorthanded following their busy trade deadline. 

Darius Garland remains OUT with a right toe sprain. He was acquired from the Cleveland Cavaliers for James Harden. 

Garland has been sidelined since January 14. In 26 games this season, Garland is averaging 18 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists. The Clippers are hoping Garland will make his debut on Tuesday against the Houston Rockets. 

Isaiah Jackson and Bennedict Mathurin are both OUT with "trade pending" listed as the official reason. Jackson and Mathurin were acquired from the Indiana Pacers for Ivica Zubac. 

Both are expected to make their debuts on Tuesday as well. 

Bradley Beal remains OUT after undergoing hip surgery. He will not return to the court this season.
