The Minnesota Timberwolves could be without Anthony Edwards against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will look to snap their losing streak when they host the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. 

The Timberwolves lost 115-103 in their last game, falling to the Philadelphia 76ers. They have lost two straight and three of their last four and are 5-5 in their last ten games. They sit sixth in the West, 46-31 overall. They are two games behind the Houston Rockets, but four games ahead of the Phoenix Suns. 

The Hornets are on a three-game win streak, coming off a 129-108 victory over the Indiana Pacers. They are 8-2 in their last ten games. They are eighth in the East with a 42-36 record. They are a game behind the 76ers and a half game ahead of the Orlando Magic. 

The two teams met back on November 1, a 122-105 victory for the Timberwolves. Anthony Edwards did not play in that contest. For the Hornets, Brandon Miller did not play. 

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

Anthony Edwards is QUESTIONABLE with right knee patellofemoral pain syndrome. Edwards played 26 minutes against the 76ers, but had a rough shooting night, going 3-15 from the field for eight points. He also had two rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block. He's played in two of the last three games.  

Jaden McDaniels is OUT with left knee patella tendinopathy. He's been out since March 25. On March 30, the Timberwolves announced that McDaniels would be out week-to-week. 

If Edwards plays, he's expected to start alongside Julius Randle, Ayo Dosunmu, Rudy Gobert, and Donte DiVincenzo. 

Bones Hyland, Naz Reid, and Kyle Anderson will come off the bench. 

Charlotte Hornets Injury Report

Moussa Diabate is PROBABLE with a left ankle sprain. He missed the last game against the Pacers. He had played in 19 straight games prior to being sidelined against the Pacers. He's played in 69 games this season, averaging eight points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. 

PJ Hall is OUT with a right ankle fracture. He's been sidelined since February 22. He's listed as day-to-day, but it is unknown if he will return to the lineup this season. He has played in just 19 games this season, averaging 4.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.5 assists. 

Tosan Evbuomwan and Antonio Reeves are OUT on a G-League two-way deal. Liam McNeeley and Tidjane Salaun are OUT on G-League assignment. 

If Diabate plays, he is expected to start alongside Kon Knueppel, Brandon Miller, Miles Bridges, and LaMelo Ball.
