The Minnesota Timberwolves rolled through the Memphis Grizzlies for a 131-114 victory on Saturday night and the Timberwolves have no won four straight games after suffering a five-game losing streak immediately before.
Minnesota has been clicking on both the offensive and defensive ends in that win streak, but the team's league-renowned offense has been the attention-getter during the streak.
Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle, the team's top two scorers, combined for 60 points in the win over the Grizzlies. The pair are in their second season together since Randle joined the Timberwolves from the New York Knicks and their chemistry is off the charts.

Jesse Johnson-Imagn ImagesBoth players have the ability to take over games offensively when need be and by this point in their shared careers they've built up the comfort and familiarity with each other where their games can feed off each other and at any given point in game one of the two can create opportunities for the other to thrive in.
"Just two dynamic scorers. We're able go get to different spots on the floor and give each other space at the same time. I know when to let him go to work and he knows based off of matchups when to put me in spots and positions," Randle said (via Timberwolves). "So, it's really not that hard."
The instincts they have as multi-season veterans goes a long way in creating those opportunities and reading those defenses and the pair's shared knowledge and experience means they can work excellently as a duo.
Randle took a little but of time to find his footing as a member of the Timberwolves last season, and a handful of injuries that kept Randle off the court didn't help with finding that familiarity, but now he's fully settled in with Minnesota and having one of the best seasons in his 12 year career.
Randle is averaging 22.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. His assist totals especially standout as they're the second highest average in his career and a lot of that has to do with having an electric scorer like Edwards to feed the ball to.
Edwards and Randle are averaging 51.7 points per game combined this season, making them one of the best scoring duos in the NBA and putting them up with esteemed combination like Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves as well as Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

Stephen Lew-Imagn ImagesThe combination of the two is the driving force that makes the Timberwolves such a formidable offense and with the two paired together for the foreseeable future with Randle signed through the 2027-28 season and Edwards signed through 2028-29, their chemistry could only grow and their offense could get even more dangerous.
