The Minnesota Timberwolves could be without Ayo Dosunmu against the Houston Rockets.

It's a big showdown in the Western Conference as the Minnesota Timberwolves host the Houston Rockets.

The Timberwolves look to build more momentum following their 102-92 victory over the Boston Celtics. The Wolves have won three of their last four, but are 5-5 in their last ten games. They occupy the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-28 record. They trail the Denver Nuggets by a half game and lead the Houston Rockets by a half game.

The Rockets are coming off a surprising loss to the Chicago Bulls, which snapped their two-game win streak. They are 5-5 in their last ten games as well. At 43-28, they are sixth in the West, trailing the Timberwolves by a half game. They do lead the Phoenix Suns by four games, putting them firmly in a guaranteed playoff spot and out of the Play-In tournament.

This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. They last met on January 16, a 110-105 victory for the Rockets. They will play again on April 10 in the second to last game of the season, which could decide a very important tie-breaker.

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

Ayo Dosunmu is QUESTIONABLE with right calf soreness. He played 32 minutes against the Celtics, finishing with 17 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. He hasn't missed a game since March 11, playing in six straight contests.

He's started the last four games due to Anthony Edwards being sidelined. He's averaging 19 points, eight rebounds, and 5.5 assists while shooting 47% from three.

Anthony Edwards is OUT with right knee patellofemoral pain syndrome. He's been sidelined since March 15. On March 17, the Timberwolves announced that he would miss at least one to two weeks.

Enrique Freeman, Zyon Pullin, and Rocco Zikarsky are OUT on G-League two-way deals.

Houston Rockets Injury Report

The Rockets have a relatively healthy lineup going into this important game.

Steven Adams is OUT after undergoing season-ending left ankle surgery in late January. The Rockets have gone 18-13 since Adams was ruled out for the season. He was averaging 5.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 32 games.

Fred VanVleet is OUT after undergoing ACL surgery in the offseason. He has not, and will not, play this season. The Rockets have split point guard duty in place of VanVleet, who was going to be in the starting lineup. Amen Thompson and Reed Sheppard have been counted on to replace the production the team was expecting from VanVleet.

Tristen Newton is OUT on a G-League two-way deal.
