We have a pitch reveal from Curry on trying to bring LeBron to Golden State.
Speculation surrounding LeBron James' next destination continues to dominate the NBA offseason, and Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry isn't hiding the fact that he'd welcome the opportunity to team up with one of the greatest players in league history.
While competing at the American Century Championship in Stateline, Nevada, Curry opened up about conversations he has had with James regarding the possibility of joining the Warriors. Although no decision has been made, Curry made it clear why he believes Golden State would be an ideal landing spot for the four-time NBA champion.
From championship basketball to world-class golf courses, Curry's recruiting pitch covered more than just what happens on the hardwood.

Speaking with reporters during the celebrity golf tournament, Curry explained that Golden State's championship culture is the biggest selling point.
"The pitch is if you want to play good basketball, be around people that know how to play the game, hopefully raise our floor and our competitiveness this year," Curry said before joking, "There's good golf in the Bay."
Curry also pointed to the Warriors' track record of sustained success over the last decade.
"We're an organization that's been there. And he knows that," Curry said. "It's self-explanatory. It's just a matter of where he sees himself fitting. And at the end of the day, that's up to him."
The two superstars spent years battling each other in four consecutive NBA Finals before helping Team USA capture Olympic gold together. Curry believes seeing two of basketball's biggest icons finish their careers as teammates would be unprecedented.
"It would be such a unique story in NBA history — sports history," Curry said.
Curry also joked that he hoped James could make a quick trip to Lake Tahoe to join him on the golf course during the tournament.

Since announcing his departure from the Los Angeles Lakers on June 30, James has been linked to several contenders, including Golden State. While Curry acknowledged he has no inside knowledge regarding James' decision, it's easy to understand why the Warriors would be interested.
Even entering his 23rd NBA season, James remains one of the league's most productive players. During the 2025-26 campaign, the 22-time All-Star averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists while shooting 51.5% from the field in 60 games. His ability to impact every facet of the game continues to make him one of basketball's premier playmakers and leaders.
A pairing of James and Curry would instantly become one of the NBA's most accomplished duos, combining eight championships, six MVP awards and decades of postseason success. James' size, versatility and playmaking alongside Curry's elite shooting would present matchup problems for every opponent.
For now, the possibility remains just that—a possibility. Curry has publicly made his case, but the decision ultimately rests with James. Until then, the Warriors and the rest of the NBA will wait to see where one of the game's all-time greats decides to continue his legendary career.
